    Beetles in 1948. You can still go to VW dealers and get their HO scale New Beetle for about $7.

  4. Dr. Porsche’s (pronounced Porshuh) new design-consulting studio, opened in 1931 and hand Wanderer as their first customer. The result was very Beetle like, even though it predated the first "Volksauto" design, the Zundapp of 1932.
