The 25th Anniversary Golf GTI for Europe – But since it has only been on sale here since 1983, it will be released as a limited edition in the US. This edition comes with 180-horse 1.8-liter turbo, 6-speed manual transaxle, honking big 18-inch factory mags, lowered suspension, front spoiler and leather Recaro bucket seats. It will be at the spring car show in New York this spring. US will get 1000 units in May 2002.
