MARCH’S QUESTIONS

1.       What would you say is the first VW ever?

2.       Name a color that was never offered on the Beetle until the 1970’s.

3.       Ok, I’ve asked this question before, but I’m including it again for newcomers. What does the term “barn door” bus refer, to?

4.       Have you noticed that there are not nearly as many post 1967 Type 2 pickup trucks and vans at VW shows, as there are of the pre-‘68 split-window models? There is a reason for that. It was called “The Great Chicken war!” What was that all about?

5.       When did the U.S. Beetle first get turn signals mounted on the front fenders?

6.       When did the European model get them?
